Welcome!

My name is Jenna, and I’m a senior journalism major at the University of Texas. Born and raised in Austin, I enjoy taking advantage of the city’s abundant green spaces, refreshing swimming holes and innumerable taco trucks! Previously, I was the Multimedia Editorial Intern for Texas Highways Magazine. To view my journalistic work, click here.

The way I feel about storytelling is the same as how I feel about cooking: it’s a creative journey that allows me to combine different elements to craft something unique, whether it’s a delicious meal or a captivating narrative.

When I'm not chasing stories, I spend most of my time in the kitchen, where my passion for food and cooking shines. I honed my culinary skills as a Cooking School Assistant at Central Market and a Test Kitchen Intern for Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia, infusing creativity into every dish I make. Check out my latest recipes here.

Alongside cooking, my passion lies in community journalism, where I focus my lens on the vibrant stories of East Austin. From cultural celebrations to social issues, I'm dedicated to amplifying the voices that often go unheard, one captivating image at a time. To view my photographic work, click here.
